NANTUCKET, MA — Kevin Spacey’s sexual trial was thrown for a loop yesterday when the disgraced Hollywood star was arrested by the fashion police on his way to the court room.
In an inexplicably brazen move, the fallen icon was on his way to the courtroom wearing a floral Tommy Bahama shirt in “Atlantic chinook” when he was intercepted by the Sartorial Task Force.
"I'm not sure what he was thinking,” said Task Force leader Glen Cheyenne. Kevin is being tried for some pretty serious crimes, and he’s dressed like a back up dancer for Liberace."
Clearly miffed at the delay in proceedings, U.S. District Judge Norb Reno lamented the actor’s choice in garb, stating that when facing sexual assault charges, it’s customary for celebrities to “play it straight” from a fashion perspective. “I’m not sure why this is so hard for Kevin. He’s been attempting to play it straight his whole career.”
