"Preppy Twerp” The Breakout Men’s Style of Thanksgiving 2018
Somewhere between “Cape Cod Yuccie” and “Chappaquiddick Shitbag,” a style dubbed “Preppy Twerp” has been declared the “It” look for 2018’s Turkey Day.
Described by analysts as “Tucker Carlson meets Niles Crane”, the look is an overcompensatory reach for men seeking to hoodwink their spouses' extended families into believing they’re more than they are.
While flexible, Preppy Twerp is characterized by affordable but quintessential WASPY staples like LL Bean, Gant, IZOD, and Sperry Topsiders for the warmer regions.
“Style is more confusing than its ever been. Said men’s sartorial analyst Saul Horseman. “Normcore was a gamechanger. It’s now impossible to tell a smoldering hipster from a seething hobo. P-Twerp is both a leveler and a liberator.”
